About Us


We are Highland Homestead, a family-run farm located in the rural countryside of Bedford County near Schellsburg, Pennsylvania. We began our farming journey in 2018 with a simple goal — to raise healthy food for our own family. Today, along with our three daughters, we are excited to share that same quality food with our local community.


We both grew up valuing home-raised meat and growing our own food, and those roots inspired us to build a farm centered on faith, stewardship, and transparency. What started with one Black Angus cow has grown into a diversified farm raising beef cattle, pigs, laying hens, and meat chickens.


We believe truly healthy food begins with healthy soil, sunshine, and animals raised with care. At Highland Homestead, we strive to raise our animals responsibly so you can feel confident about the food on your family’s table.
